SurvivorNetTV’s film “Song For Hope” is a story about acclaimed trumpet soloist Ryan Anthony’s resilience as he bravely battled multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer.
Anthony’s music career began as a teenager when he won the Seventeen Magazine/General Motors Concerto Competition. His skills as a musician took him across the world, where he performed before countless people, leaving an indelible mark wherever he showcased his talents.

“He was having these pains in his side and said, ‘I think I pulled something,” Niki said.
A couple of years into Anthony’s cancer journey, he and his wife Niki launched the Ryan Anthony Foundation, a nonprofit designed to help raise awareness and money for cancer research.
The film “Song for Hope” highlights Anthony’s rise from child prodigy to world-famous trumpet soloist while navigating cancer treatment, which included numerous visits to cancer clinics, chemotherapy, and stem cell transplants. Through it all, Anthony maintained a positive mindset, which proved infectious for everyone he came in contact with.
