TikTok user, Zach Hunzinger, is using his ongoing cancer journey as a way to inspire others on the social media platform by chronicling his cancer battle online. It’s impossible to watch this video and not get a big smile on your face, as we see this young man relish in life’s joys even as he fights cancer: dancing, kissing, moving his body and getting fit, and more, all set to a powerful ballad that sings about “rising up.” It’s clear that Hunzinger has a real joy for life, as his latest TikTok showed him dancing around imitating Tom Cruise in Risky Business.

Hunzinger was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, which he described as “one of the worst cancers to get.” Support for him has flooded in, via news coverage and loved ones helping pay for his cancer treatment. He had chemotherapy to fight his disease, and in one video diary entry, he’s seen shaving his head. (Hair loss is a common side effect of chemotherapy.)

Hunzinger’s GoFundMe page details his battle with cancer, saying, “Zach Hunzinger’s fight against cancer has been an inspiration to so many. He underwent chemotherapy and surgery 2 years ago and recently learned the cancer has returned. Zach is fighting his battle once again and he is not alone.”
