Hil Moss was stunned after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis despite being healthier than she ever had been. Moss was 28 at the time and had left a demanding job to pursue a graduate degree. Before she started school, she took time to focus on her health by hiking around the world and participating in triathlons. What made the diagnosis even more shocking was that Hil's family had no known history of breast cancer.
