Kidd had enlisted the help of “luxury lifestyle guru” Tracii Show-Hutsona in 2015 as a personal assistant and concierge, who was just arrested in February when her fraudulent lifestyle finally caught up to her. Hutsona was also convicted in 2008 for scamming a Japanese staffing company. Federal prosecutors announced that the charges are for wire fraud and identity theft charges, referring to her as a “serial con artist.” She faces up to 22 years in prison.

Hutsona had a show on YouTube, Homeless Millionaires, which showed off the benefit of working alongside the rich and famous.
"We're living like millionaires, we're living like our billionaire clients, but we're working," Hutsona said in one episode. "We're working, always." Only they were finding ways to make transfers into their own accounts from distracted clients like Kidd, who was going through radiation at the time. Kidd did not perform a background check.
According to The New York Times, Kidd and her financial adviser noticed more than $300,000 missing from accounts and credit cards opened in her name that she wasn’t aware of. When they confronted Hutsona, she denied it, but then showed up crying at her client’s door and admitted guilt, saying she “felt pressured” by her husband, Derrell Hutsona, who has not been arrested. Hutsona had begged them to forgive her and said she would turn herself in.
Hutsona’s Instagram shows pictures of she and her husband, whom she appears to be happily married toat least on social media.

According to prosecutors, Kidd felt pity for the woman at first and they went on to sign a "personal plea agreement" not involving police.
Joumana Kidd’s Story
Joumana Kidd divorced her NBA basketballer husband in 2007. She has shared pics on her social media with the late Kobe Bryant and his family, a perk of being a basketball wife. She and Jason Kidd met when she was a cocktail waitress and promo model. They didn’t get together until four years later when he was playing ball with the Dallas Mavericks. Joumana and Jason share three children together, Trey Jason, 22, and twins Miah and Jazelle, age 19.
The single mom has worked hard to make a name for herself, hosting shows for NBA television, Extra TV, and has covered red carpets for the Grammys and Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame ceremonies. She also co-starred in the VH1 Reality Series Let's Talk About Pep. The mom of two had her own show on NET TV (Catholic Cable TV Network) called Women On Women.
On a podcast with an old high school friend, Second Chances Podcast, Kidd opened up about her divorce and her breast cancer. She detailed how brutal their very public divorce was on her, and ironically, she thanks Brittany Spears and her notorious head-shaving incident for taking the media attention off of her.
Years later, Kidd was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer the day she was going house-shopping in Los Angeles to make a move from New Jersey. Luckily, the TV personality just celebrated 5 years in remission from the disease in 2020.
“After having surgery I was told my test results were great and I would not have to do chemo,” she wrote of her journey. “A week later, another call changed their mind and they want me to do aggressive chemo.” She was devastated and discouraged and decided to meet with doctors in LA for another opinion. Both doctors were in agreement that she would not have to do chemo, just radiation, which she did for 7 weeks following a lumpectomy. She found her dream home later that day, urging fans to trust in God.
“Listen to God! He speaks to us so clearly,” she continued. “We just have to listen. Today is my 5 year mark! I'm cancer free AND I live in LA. Put your trust in God!”
