Dr. Matthew Barth
Pediatric Oncologist
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Matthew Barth is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Although he cares for children with all types of blood cancers, his primary focus is on pediatric leukemia and lymphoma.
Dr. Barth earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He completed both his residency in pediatrics and his fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University at Buffalo. He is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric hematology and oncology.
Dr. Barth has a research lab where he studies new treatments for pediatric lymphomas. He also participates in the development of clinical trials testing new targeted therapies in children with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Along with his clinical and research roles, Dr. Barth is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo, and an attending physician in the Division of Hematology/Oncology in Pediatrics at the Oishei Children's Hospital.
